I finished the 5ft rescape today. Started last night about 8pm Friday (17th April) night, pulled up at 2am Sat morning (pulling plants, catching fish, draining water, removing old substrate, fully cleaning tank, getting wood just how i wanted it *L*, put in layer of laterite and dino duno, wash new gravel and put in). Started again around 8am finished around 4ish (adding 350 litres of water by the cup full, sorting and planting, clean filter and get the 'darn' thing to go again *L*, turn heater on) so approx 14 hours of work, but i love it lol

Now i'm just waiting for it to come up to temperature before adding fish in.
The cories will not be returning (shocking for digging and knocking out new plants), the yoyo loaches will be sold (diggers, and i dont want them messing my substrate *L*)
Oh and a suprise *L* I bought a very large peppermint bristlenose male months ago, hadnt seen it since i put it in there...thankfully it is still alive and i am VERY happy to see him!!!

Water is clearing, scuse reflections on glass in spots, i had room lights on (OH working in here *L*)
STATS
Capacity: ~ 350 litres or approx 90gal
Substrate: ~ Thin layer of API laterite, Dino Dung in heavier planter areas, then all topped with a layer of plain black 6mm gravel
Plants: ~ Val, Java fern, Thin java fern, Various swords, Various anubias, A. Crispis, Crypts & Blyxa (more plants to be added over time)
Fertz: ~ Will start dosing Dino Spit in a few weeks (a carbon source)
Lighting: ~ Dalbarb double 4ft T8 (2x40W) & Hagan GLO 2ft T5 (one each side, so 1x24W) makes approx 1WPG of lighting over the tank
Occupents: 7 angels, 2 Clown loaches, 1 Redtail shark, 4 Otos, 5 common BN, 1 Bronze cory (he will not be staying, once i can catch the little sod *L*), 3 Cherry barbs & ? Riffle shrimp (more various stock to come)
