Ive only today started the moss carpet, i've shaped the material like a hill, so hopefully once/if the moss grows it should look pretty good.

looks much better/natural. What type of moss are you using? Once it fills out it sould be nice, but just as a warning alot of mosses grow up more than out, so you might have to trim alot. When I had a Java Moss carpet I had to trim it like a lawn once a week

O ye forgot to say, yeh its java moss.

cool cool, I know i've shown this pic before, but here's what mine looked like when it was almost full. When I switch over to higher lighting/CO2 injections I went with dwarf hairgrass, but this stuff was still pretty cool!

How long does it take for it to start growing at a steady rate?
