So I wanted to make a 5.5 into a nano planted, but my 150 is really temping me to make her into a planted. Lighting isnt an issue, I have to make a hood for it anyways, so I can design it around the light. However, would it being planted limit my stocking amount? This is my main worry. Also the cost of the CO2 injection is putting me off, since fermentation is out of the question. Or should I make it a lightly planted with normal stocking. I need to use a sump with it, and I heard sumps are bad for planted tanks because of so much air contact, the CO2 gases off. Should I just do a 5.5 nano planted? Any ideas?

low light so you dont have to inject co2. that will limit your plant selection a bit, but should be able to find some nice easy low-tech plants to work with. itd cost a fortune tho id imagine:)
all the best.
