Plant Weights

hiya, just wondered if anyone could recommend a good plant weight? been told not to use lead, as it crushes the stems, seen some in teracotta type pots, well tubes, any suggestions?, lisa

I've bought some with terracotta rings around the bottom, Pets at home. They look really nice against the white sand.

There's no need for plant weights, if plants needed them they would have evolved to have them by now, just plant the stem in the substrate and the roots will grow.

Erm, what about the health of your fish? Did you consider that?

Most plant wholesalers now offer these alongside the lead weights.
