leave it at 6 hours for a couple of weeks and then up it to 8. I wouldn't go higher than 8, at present though.

Plants have now been removed/cut/light reduced so hopefully they should all do slightly better now. Only downside is I got some bare patches 
simple rearrangement of the tank can sort that out though. I just have 1 last question. Shall I still get the plant supplements which I was going to get this weekend and introduce them into the tank when I do my water change?
