Plant roots...

Hey.

Most of my plants have taken root now, but some of them have TOO much root, and it looks a bit unsightly. Is there any way to hide them? I've buried some in the sand but this is really awkward, and obviously you can't cut them 'cos they might die..........

What kind of plants do you have? How deep is your substrate?

It could either mean you have too less substrate or they are desperately looking for nutrients It also depends on the type of plants.

Trimming a few roots will not affect the plants but this should be done only after they have fully established.
