Plant Lights On Tank Pl-s Having Trouble...

Hi

I have a aquaone 600 65 litre and it takes pl-s lamps and are expensive from a pet store can I use standard pl-s lamps to grown plants? I need to replace the ones that are in it because they are worn out.

I have found thease are they right for plants?

Had a look but dont stock my type the tank takes 2 PL-S G23 cap bulbs, any other ideas?

Sorry matey. just looked myself and the don't do the 11w twin compact (these are the 2 pins on the end lights)

Other than this site I don't know anywhere that sells T5 twin compacts for less than a tenner, so unfortunately looks like money being spent. Sorry about that
 
OLD post I know but I noticed they had these lights in Lincoln's P@H last week for (I think) the Aqua Cube 11W twin compact but at 9.99 thats expensive for a 11W light, but then I guess thats why they make it for this tank!!!!
