Hello all, noob here :)

I bought a bunch of mixed plants from a lfs, and I'm not sure about a couple of them.

First : Plant 1

Second : Plant 2

Third : Plant 3

The first one is a grass of some sort. I thought the second two were crypts, but like I say, I am now not 100% convinced. :)

I've used external links, because I only have a 100k upload limit.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

All those plants are non-aquatic. :/
Plant 1-Saw it today but forgot the name- begins with A
Plant 2 & 3 maybe some sort of bamboo plant

The first one does like Eleocharis acicularis, dwarf hairgrass.

Pic 2 looks like a non-aquatic plant unfortunately and I'm not sure but pic 3 looks suspect too. Possibly non-aquatic and deffo not crypts.

Looks like hairgrass but dont think it is, i had some from my lfs that looked thicker like that does and it soon died and hairgrass is easy to grow.

The first one isn't Hairgrass. I saw plant 1 today at my LFS and its def not aquatic but I forgot the name!

Thanks guys.

I didnt think they looked aquatic.

My other plants, limonphiola and egeria are growing like crazy.

I wonder why established LFS still sell non-aquatics like this, tempted to ask for a refund.

the lfs will sell non aquatics because people are prepared to buy them knowing that they are a short term tank enhancement visually speaking

I had a bamboo non aquatic plant once and it lasted about a year lol.

I went to another lfs who did point out the non-aquatics, and shake their head. They will be getting more of my money than the ones who didnt bother. :)
