What are these plants?
download.jpg

What's the best thing to plant these in? Just got them from the LFS and could do with some information on what they require to thrive.

The tall thin plant at the back is elodea, which is undemanding. The one with the light green broad leaves is an amazon sword plant i think which if it is, is undemanding but will benefit from some root tabs to supply nutrients to it's roots. And the purple plant isn't aquatic i think, but wait for someone else on that one.

That would explain the look from the shopkeeper when I asked for that one too then, I was taken by it's colour. What's the best thing to be planting the sword plant in to provide nutrients?

Just plant it into the gravel or sand in the tank, and buy some root tabs and place them in the gravel or sand where the plants planted.

Should they be taken out of the plastic ties that hold them together towards the roots.
