Another forum has suggested these are house plants

Are they the same plant?
 
First picture I would have ID'd as a Alternanthera Reineckii
 
Second one as a hygrophila.
 
Oh, and no, they're not house plants.

Is the plants looking ok. As the first one is hard to tell as leaves came that colour. Bottom one is purpling off in some leaves.


Do they need trimming or replacing

They look like healthy specimens. They're both supposed to be purple/pink, so that's a good thing. The second one a lot more green overall though, but looks a nice colour. They'll take off once they get themselves established. Hygrophila in particular can be a very fast grower.

Wanted a fast grower, as lot of my plants are pretty low and nothing reaches the top or has filled out.
