Many thanks.

Rotala rotundifolia. Likes medium lighting. Turns pinkish under highlight, or when the stem grows so tall the top is close to the light.

NP. It looks real nice planted in a large group!

I must admit it's a lovely plant. The only thing is that it get so high, then curves over. You can see it in the picture. Mind you, I only have about a dozon stems, if there where more they might grow more upright?

How close is it to the top of your tank before it starts to curve?

It seems to be about 7-8 inches from the surface. I'm not 100% sure I will keep it. I'm looking for a plants like polysperma but with a yellow'ish colour and smaller leafs. I still want the upright'ish habit of the polysperma

Since you only have a dozen stems, why not cut the part that curves over and plant it in the substrate? This is how you're supposed to propagate this plant, and it looks better in a bigger bunch anyways. It grows really fast, and thus, is a good plant to have if you want to keep algae at a minimum when first starting out...
