Hi all, I'm new to these forums. Just starting to set up an aquael bowl

I bought a couple of plants with it at my LFS, but stupidly didn't ask what type they were
So can anyone help ID?

Are they suitable for the tank (it's only 25l) and if so, what type of substrate would be suitable for them? Do I take them out of the little plastic basket and plant them like garden plants or is there a technique?
Thanks for any advice :)

The one on the left is Vallisneria, not sure which one and the other is Cabomba.
Sand or fine gravel will be fine to grow them in but they may need cutting back as they can both get quite tall.
Take them out of the basket and plant them straight into the substrate, The Cabomba doesn't have roots, so you will have to make sure it's buried well to prevent it from uprooting.
And :hi: to the forum!

Hi stang, thanks for that ID and advice :)
How many hours a day will they need the light on for?
