No idea on the first because the pic isn't really clear enough.

The second looks to me like a Cryptocoryne.

As above remove the pot and seperate the plantlets gently. There should be several seperate plants grown together there so after removing the rockwool you should be able to gentle ease the plants apart and then plant them.

yeah, its hard to see the first one, the second looks like avery sorry crypt as supercoley1 said

thanks for the replies :good:

i'll try to get a clearer pic of the first plant. the plant is quite small and only really has 2 leaves as it used to be in the same tank as danios and they wreaked it.

The second plant looks like a small specimen of a Red Rubin Sword. Take it out of the pot and gently remove the rockwool from the roots. A heavy root feeder that would benefit from root tabs.

The first pic isn't very good to try and identify. Try to get a better one. If possible take it out of the tank and take a picture of it.

That's Nuphar Japonica. Prepare for a tank busting plant!!!!:

This was mine in my 125Ltr (18" tall) which I pruned heavily quite regularly to control it before I got fed up with it and got rid. Mine started about that size ;)

September 2007 after a rescape, The plant had been in the previous scape about 3 months
