Plant I.d.

Hi all,

I purchased a variety of plants off Plants Alive, however I am unsure what to do with the ones in the pictures below.
Does anyone know what they are? Foreground/Floating etc.

I tried planting them but they just float to the top straight away, even with lead weights attatched to them. I'm currently keeping them in a bucket for the time being.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi, that's a floating plant. It is a Salvinia, Not sure which species though.

Yes I'm fairly sure they're Salvinia Molestra after running a Google search.

Any idea's on how to stop the flow blowing them all round the tank? I'd rather they just stay in one place really.
