Plant I.d Please

So bought some Japanese cress at my LFS today and found a hitchhiker in the bag.

At first I thought it was a broken leaf but then I noticed the roots. Could someone I.D it? maybe a little info also?

This looks like it could be LIMNOBIUM LAEVIGATUM althoughthis does have more leaves on top... this may be it though

Thanks, im guessing it was part of a group but it got split. Do you think it will continue to grow/expand?

yes it will continue to grow...they are really easy plants as they get the C02 from the atmosphere.
