Plant Growing With Just Sunlight

About 1.5 months ago i put 2 peices of h. polysperma in my betta's tank. I thought they would died but they are growing very slowly. The tank is by a window but it dosn't get very much sunlight. The tank has no hood light and normal pea sized gravel. I have not added any C02 or ferts to the tank. So is this normal for h. polysperma or do you think it will eventuly died?

ya it will eventally die.

i would invest in a light.

and some ferrts.

Their are 4 varieties of this plant 3 have low light conditions and easy to grow 1 is hard to grow it has high light demands check out this site http/www.tropica.com/default.asp
