I have a small tank at work for my betta and since it's at work, i can't plug in anything so no light for the tank :(

Anyway, the tank still gets daylight and the lighting from the office neons but i'm wondering If i can't grow naything in there

Well not really grow, but maintain.

That plastic plant that came with my tank isn't very nice

Also, I do 100% weekly water changes if that makes any difference

You could put some java moss in there, possibly tie into a tiny piece of wood

You could try java fern, it work sunder really low light but im not sure about about no light.

So how do you heat it

The temperature at work is pretty stable at around 22-23 degrees

There is lighting from the office, just no direct light in the tank so the plant would still get some decent lighting but nowhere near a regular planted tank!

I thaught java moss would be ok, and if the lighting is poor it won't grow too quickly which is good. I'll go pick some up at my not so local fish store. I have to drice like 20 minutes across town to get there, but theu are the only one I trust with my aquariums from now on...

i planted anubias nana in a betta tank with no artificial light and little sunlight and it's doing great, has even put out a few new leaves. :)

Thanks
I was actually looking at these for my 20g aquarium and I see they can live with very little light

I think we have a winner!

You could try Anubias nana too. Mine thrives in the shade of my larger plants.
Is that the scientific name for the Amazon Sword?

No. Echinodorus species are Amazon Swords, they require a lot more light. HTH
Errr... Excuse my stupidity, but then what is Anubias?
