at some point in the near future will be doing my 1st planted tank. in the mean time i have put a few plants in my current tank to see what happens.
i putr in 1 green barensis and 3 straight valis. they seem to be blossoming so now i want to get them growing and put them in new tank.

whats the best food for them the liquid or the tabs??

I think it's a matter of personal preference. A lot of people who are serious about growing plants use a sand substrate with plant fertiliser underneath. Personally I use liquid. I cut one of the air supply lines to my undergravel filter and stuck a valve in it, and I squirt the ferts in there so they are delivered through the undergravel straight to the roots of the plants.
