IME - no, it may of helped but when i switched to TPN+ the new growth was remarkable.

Tropica Plant Nutrition - for heavily stocked tanks (contains trace elements & Potassium) as more fish produce the nitrate & Phosphate.

Tropica plant Nutrition+ - for lighter stocked tanks as it contains added nitrate & Phosphate.

Yes as it covers Macro's and Micro's. The only thing better is Estimative Index but unless you have pressurized CO2 it is a no no. It is pinned if you want to look at it.

I honestly wouldn't look any further than the Tropica. I bought a bottle several weeks ago and instead of dosing it all in one go after a water change (per instructions), I dose just a little every day - the growth has been fabulous.

Estimative index isn't so much better as cheaper than TPN+, growth wise I doubt you would get that much improvement in growth over what I get using TPN+ . The formulation of EI I believe was originally based on what you find in Tropica Plant Nutrition +.

EI has higher PO4 and NO3 unless you do a DIY TPN+ in which you can add them, this is the only thing it lacks .
