Plant Delivery.....

Hey all,
I am expecting a delivery of plants in the morning and was wondering if they would be fine sitting in some tank water for a few hours as i have places to be, people to see

Would this work fine as i am doing a whole tank clean out, so won't be able to put the plants in for at LEAST 2 hours.
