Plant Cuttings ?

hello . i got this plant and it growing really well and quick , so i want to cut a bit and put it in my other tank .

you can use scissors and cut it where you want, then plant it back in the substrate.

is that it  thats easy . are you sure i dont have to mess about for 4 weeks and test it every 3 days ? i cant beleave anything with fish tanks can be that simple
