Im having a few problems with my plants and growing/algae at the moment. Heres a few specs:

110W giving me about 2.4WPG
2x nutafin CO2 systems
Does 1xweekly with flourish
Flourish root tabs

Ph:6.7
Kh:4 degrees
Gh:10
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate:70

All of my plants seem to be growing well, except for a couple.

There are some pics of my amazon swords, they are growing well but some leaves are yellowing, others are getting holes in and on some the veins seem to have yellowed/browned (as you can see from the pic)

Here are my grass type plants, not sure on what they are though. They are really struggling and are yellowing/dying off.

And the polysperma is growing well, but not many shoot are growing near the bottom of the plant and the ones that do are yellowing.

Can anyone help me with this? As it is really starting to annoy me.

Thanks alot

Sounds like nutrient deficiency. 1x dose Flourish per week with your lighting and CO2 is probably too little.

Your NO3 is more than high enough (if it is an accurate reading, NO3 kits are notoriously inaccurate) so dosing macronutrients may not be necessary. I assume you have plenty of fish.

Have you got a full tank shot so we can see how densely planted you are?

Can't you do lights on then lights off for two hours then lights back on again to reduce algae?

You're under planted for a "proper" planted tank.

This will be contributing toward algae. Your light and CO2 are geared toward growing plenty of plants but because there aren't enough to utilise it, algae does so instead.

Get some more weeds in there and the algae should subside.

Ok, i am now dosing twice weekly with flourish and seachem potassium. I have just bought some more plants: rotala green, anubias nana, anubias bartari and anubias cofeefolia. I am also looking into getting some riccia to use as a floating plant. On the anubias nana some of the leaves are almost melting away, could this be related to low potassium?
