Plans For A 20 G Setup For Malawi

I saw couple of videos of 20g african cichlid tanks on youtube.

I needed your suggestions regarding

How many fish should can i keep in that setup?
The species I must keep?

I am planning to have all juveniles only.
Am PLanning an all male or an all female setup.

i would go with either shellies or a pair of brichardi from lake tang. 20 gallons isnt much to work with.

Juveniles don't stay juveniles forever. Go with shell dwellers or small tanganyikan species, maybe.

Also, never go on youtube for stocking suggestions. I only see like 1 in every 15 tanks properly stocked. Countless oscars in 20 gallon tanks, arowanas and stingrays in 40-55 gallon tanks, and malawi cichlids in a 20 gallon tank if you ask me isn't necessarily a good idea.
