 Hello,
In about a week I am planning on going on vaccation for about 4-6 days...My question is....can my fry survive not being fed for that long??? Right now they are 2 days old.

I know my big fish will be fine but...I am worried about my fry...and if they can't survive then I will really have to cancel the vaccation.

I don't have anyone to feed them....just moved to a new town and don't know anyone really.

Would really like some advice

Thanks

i really dont think theyll survive. i know when i missed a day feeding my guppy fry, most of them died.

Hey, I'm Gurly
Well dont know honestly if fry can nip things yet :/ , but if they can buy them the vaccation or overnight feeders. :p The over night one should be enough for a couple of fry, but they are also made for big fish so put a vacation feeder in the tank. They'll nipp at it because it's food they just rip off. good luck Gurly 8)

:) When I went on a vacation in December to Jamaica, I had 8 Balloon molly fry. I just dropped in a vacation feeder, since it releases food daily. My fry nibbled on that and they all survived when I returned!

when i went away i had my parents drop in 1-2 large flakes and they would nibble on that. i also put a plant that was in the tank in the breeding net since mollies eat algae also.

Yea one of those vacation feeders that look like treasure chests and pyramids are good but not too nutritious

I've always read that those vacation feeders really mess up your water?
I've read a lot of stories on here how people come home and their water is all cloudy and their fish are dieing?

How much of one of those vacation feeders would you give to 14 fry?? just a tiny piece?

Thanks!
