i feed plankton to all my fish and always thought they came from the sea,but i was doing some reading and they say that some africans feed mostly on plankton? http://aquahobby.com/gallery/gborleyi.html
it the 3rd paragraph 3rd line from the botton.
i know this info came from some regular shmo, but i'm curious.
hope my question isn't to silly,i'm trying to do more research on certain fish species and their food requirements as well as food they live on in the wild.

Was a bit bored so sorted your link. Hope you don't mind

Had a look at the paragraph in Question. It says it is an open water feeder. To me open water means seas/oceans if its surrounded by land ( a loch or a lake to the uneducated. lol) it just aint open water. Also I don't get his meaning on reefs I thought they were a marine thing. It may just be the guys wording or he's been writing so much he's got himself mixed up.lol
i'll do some searching as I've been lead to believe plankton is a marine creature. Freshwater should have something simmilar but for the mo' I cant remeber

lol ( a loch or a lake to the uneducated. lol) :=) hey i'm uneducated
well not anymore i know what a loch is.lol
and i knew plankton was a marine animal so ha! j/k

"Also I don't get his meaning on reefs I thought they were a marine thing."
seems like he had alot to say about :/ what the heck is he trying to say?EH! doesn't matter he dudn't know nothin.
the other person has an n.brichardi and a pair of cons in the same tank, lol talk about loss of credability ;)

should have been a , after Loch. lol
the whole paragraf seems confusing. it could be he's foriegn and using translation software(stuffs notorious for not working). lol
