Right here it goes; :/ I'm quite new to his whole keeping fish thing and was daydreeming the other day, I alredy have 120 and 50l;iter setups 120 for trop Platies, a betta some gori's (Haveing troble with them :-( Se other post in Emergacys) and the 50 for the girlfrtiends Black moors (I have to maintain the tank tho). I feel i Need some what more of a challange!! :flex: No are the Cihlids the way to go? I'm thinking of a spesies tank for them, some of the pic I've seen are aweosume! The blue head with the yellow body. Don't know what there called have to do my recerch on them! My Q on the matter is what is a substatial setup to keep them I have found a tank and stand for sale 48"x12"x18" is this ok or do i need a deeper one. :/ I think it works out at 180-200 liters?

For cichlids a bigger tank is always better, so no matter how many sizes you ask about I'd always recommend the largest on your list. There are so many species of cichlids that we really need to know what type it is first before any reliable info can be given.

Does the one you are thinking of look like this:

Both of which are New Worlds, i'd post this there for some more responses.
