I always wanted to keep piranha's...

When you put the plants into the tank... did they take any notice of your fingers? ;)

Cheers...
they aint interested in biting me they just move out the way when im in there.trick is no quick movements and dont cornor them.
im much more likely to get bitten in my other tank

They are lovely!
I like the look of them for some reason, not to sure why?
I visited London a few years ago and I had to go to the Aquarium, anyhow they had a huge square tank and it was full of Piranha, they were a good size too probably the same size as your guys.

Wow, looking really good Cane. I take it that by their bellies they are well fed then?
Are they just 'normal' red bellies?

The tank lookin really good! :good: Aren't you kind of wary that the piranha might shread the plants?

Also what do you do in your other tank to avoid getting bitten?

beautiful fish and tank, nice fatties lol

they are very well fed
i learnt my lesson a few months back when i think i was under feeding them, the smallest red belly got eaten by the other 3.it also could of been that the tank is to small to support 4 semi adult fish so they slimmed down the stocking a bit.
they are normal reds yeah
