I went to the pet shop with the article from here on from Piranha central and picked up some frozen cubed food.

The guy at the store told me to take some of his own water and defrost for 30mins before putting in the tank. Which I did.

The cube was like fish dust ... what am i doing wrong here?

For future reference, don't listen to your lfs unless they have proved their advice to be good advice. Cubed food usually doesn't work that great for piranhas as they don't seem to recognize such small objects (ie bloodworms) as food as adults. And don't use the pet store water. The only thing that can happen is a disease outbreak for you.

Dammit I have been fooled again ha ha.

Best food for your piranha are things like small frozen prawns/shrimp, mussels and pieces of white fish.
