i have just bought a new tank for my pink kissers so that they wouldn't die with my goldfish and they seem very happy in their new warm home...they just gave me an excuse to put a fish tank in my bedroom...thank you for all of your help....anybody know a good companion for my pink kissers?

This should really be posted in Tropical Chat or New to the Hobby sections as this is not an emergency.

They are pretty aggressive. If your tank is large enough, only angelfish would work. Otherwise, species only. :( They are sometimes mistaken as friendly, but can be quite mean. Their lips are strong attackers.

Kissing gouramis are so cute... :X

Yes they can be aggressive but to say angelfish is the ONLY fish that could work is absurd. A species tank would be great but there are plenty of options open for tankmates assuming the tank is large enough.

Yeah, sorry about that. That was the only one I could think of. I've seen them housed with larger tetras, too. Scratch the "only" thing!

well i played it safe and just got two blue gourami's to go with my kissing gourami's...they all are getting along great im so excited....and i just added two koi to my goldfish collection

For two Kissing Gouramis you need at least a 30 gallon tank. Kissing Gourami's can get up to 12 inches each!

Koi Goldfish? Those guys can reach 2 feet and larger, they need a pond!

Hey chibi,
No big deal, To be honest, I apologize if I came off blunt or rude. Was having kinda a rough night last night. No hard feelings or anything.
