pink gravid spot

my platy ( rainbow i think? ) is pregnant she has a pink gravid spot and i can see black spots ( eyes ) in it she is pretty big now and what i really need to know is will the whole gravid spot go dark or as she has a white body and its her first batch of fry could she be due soon
