Pink Convicts

How long befor I can seperate the fry from mom and dad?? I know some people do it right away, some leave them in for awile and let mom and dad take care of them. Mine are about 6-7 weeks old and I have just scooped them into a breeding cage so I can control their feeding. But mom and dad really want them out! I havnt seen cons act like this befor.

i would leave them in untill the parents choose not to want them around normally by breeding again but be aware of all those little fish and the extra load on the filters

That is the least of my worries. My tank is sufficiantly over filtered ......just a little

Its cool, I have the resourses to home them properly. I work at one of the biggest aquariums in Sacramento. Hopefully I can get a good .25 or .50 cents a pop for em. possibly a little more since they are pink convicts.
