Hi, Do your bettas 'play' with pingpong balls? IT's just that when i put a pingpong ball in alhpies tank and the girls tank they all look scared and dont touch it. After a minute or so they just leave it and dont bother with it.
Is anyone succesfull with getting tehre betta to actually touch a pingpong ball lol?

nope.
ping pong balls are more for fish like oscars..a ping pong ball is pretty big for a betta.(i dont know how they became associated with bettas on here...it has only been recently).
ive had more luck with colored marbles, but they tend to just check them out for a while never to look at them again. some snails would probably give him more entertainment. he could watch them, follow them and flare at them. all my betta tanks have snails in them and they seem to enjoy "monitoring" their activities.
cheers

I had success with ping pong balls with Radish but he's a cheeky little so and so i think it's another one of those things that depends on the betta, i have tryed marbles too and they have worked to some extent, but again only with Radish,

On another note 1000th post :hyper:
