I bought this plant last week, and I really like the look of it. The feather like leaves give it a special look, and so does the form. It looks like a forest, the plant has a pine type of shape.

Does anybody know what it is? Thanks.

A type of Milfoil? I'm not sure, but it looks like that to me.

Looks like parrot feather (Myriophyllum aquaticum) to me.

It looks similar but the stems are not red like the Myriophyllum. Any other thoughts?

There are several forms of Myriophyllum. A green and a red form, as well as several others. Like many other stemplants, there are varieties and "cultivars" readily available. Often, even the green form will blush red at the tips with higher lighting. Otherwise, it will stay more green. My guess is that it is also a Myriophyllum species or a limnophylla species of some type. Both genera are fine to keep in a planted aquarium. It looks a bit droopy to me right now, so it probably needs some more time to adjust.
