Hey guys sup? Can use another help again.

I have a couple Pictus Catfish in my tank for a couple weeks now, it seems to be getting along so far with my other smaller fish. Their only 2 inches right now.

Im just wondering though when the Pictus gets full grown, will my female bettas and balloon mollies be too small for them and will get eaten? Im worried more about the female bettas, i think the balloon mollies are too fat and round to fit in their mouth.
Thnx guys.

Might be ok, pictus are PREDATORY fish, obviously ALL molly fry will be eaten but i think the adults may be ok,female bettas might be ok too, only one way to find out really...

Maybe best rehoming the current stock and going for cichlids with the pictus

i ve only ever kept cichlids with pictus. i have them no longer tho :( . they werent v hardy when i had an ich outbreak which literally covered them then killed them. they are beautiful fish tho :D

Thnx for the response guys,

I would really hate for my female Bettas to get eaten, Their the ones I had the longest.
And I don't really want to breed balloon mollies, I might change my mind later tho.

I'll give it a try see how well my bettas get along with the Pictus as they grow, Their fine right now.
I have a 3 1/2 SA Bumblebee catfish and its mouth is really wide and never bothered my Bettas, very peaceful.
She just watch my bettas feed, til its her turn I guess. I hope she's feeding, well she's fat.

I like more of the peaceful fish, I had to return my Kribensis coz it was chasing my bettas all day.
Sorry that u loss ur Pictus Sami :( and ur right they're beautiful fish. fun to watch.

What if I transfer the male Betta to my bigger tank and put the female Bettas to the 10G will that be better or not much difference really?
