Pictus cat W/loaches??

Hi,
I currently have a 55g and 50g. I plan on getting some Clown loaches for my 55g which houses a pictus cat. In my 50g. I have 4 YoYo loaches. I am undecided about what I want to do with this tank. My question is, I think I would like to put my YoYos in my 55 with the clowns and pictus cat and then I could put some small snails in the 50 that I can feed the loaches. Would my Pictus cat bother the yoyos?
Also, if you have ANY good suggestions with what you would do with a 50g. tank,, please throw those at me. In the 55 we have Bala Sharks and the clown loaches which will be the centerpiece to the tank. I plan on putting some smaller fish in the tank so the balas stand out. I think it will look great. But, for the 50g. I just dont know.

Nope should be fine, i kept my pictus with my YoYo loaches for a few weeks before the pictus went into my bigger tank. Didnt bother each other at all. Just make sure you have plenty of decor so that there is no squabble for caves/cracks in the rocks/bogwood.
