Okay time has come I have to show my breeding colony of bettas I have

I know many are waiting especially the rare black crowntail

He actually insn't pure black. I don't name my bettas lol or fish at that matter for the reason to me they are just fish and I call them by what they are no offence to anyone when I was younger I use to name them.

Very young almost going onto 4 months now I think(3months 2 weeks old)
Halfmoon marble will be when its done growing i atleast hope this is actually a bad picture still training him to flare to spread the tail

best method to teach them is with a female beside them so having them in 1 gal jars, and something inbetween so they can't see them. Then remove the devider a few times in a day and let them flare the more they do it the more they get use to it and sooner or later they will get use to doing it and spread all the way , my white female I noticed isn't up there but she is just a small thing still smaller than the red guy.

You can train with a male but I don't recommend starting off like that for the simple reason they tend to attack the glass more than with a female.

I have never named my until my neon dwarfs spawned "Homer and Marge" the only ones I ever named until. I fell in love with bettas, with them having so many different charictures(sp) They are the only and ever fish I will name.

his finage is actually red tips dark red and blue finage and body is black, but its a dark blue, I almost shyed away from him because of the sticker price but a bargan was made not from your local pet store hehe. Actually none of our stores near me sell halfmoon or cts like this they are always vails or ct but really bright colour and finage is nothing like this. Not sure what it was bred with I think it was a halfmoon, but eaither way its still a ct to me I have owned black ones before actually they are dark blue but nothing like this. This is just insane dark

I bet if i loaded the picture up of his bubble nest you would name him different lol, reason the bubbles are #41#### huge some small ones that is normal but I have never seen bubbles from a betta this big before, what does he thing he can put 100 eggs in one
