about a month I think. we added him and the guppys together, shortly after a few of the danios and one guppy did get nipped. the danios were'nt nipping before that so i guess it could have been him but i think it was the guppys. he seems very quiet doesnt even get enough flake at feeding time so i have to hand feed him. anyway been no more nipping since they first went in. also give them some peas yesterday and he loved them and got some frozen food (ocean nutrition tropical quintet) which were going to try today. we aslo feed sinking pellets for the corys.

should prob add this. we did suspect him at the start but then we found missing guppy, then two more died and it wasnt the fighter, thy just died.

are you sure they didnt die from stress caused by the betta?
im new to fish keeping but doubt it. ive been watching the tank closely and never seen him bother them. from what i hear guppys are often weaker fish due to intensive breeding?

He is a lovely colour, if he is getting on fine with the other fish i wouldnt worry i have sucessfully kept a betta in a community of livebearers with few problems.
