Im planning to turn it into marine one day but cost is a big issue, plus I want to make sure I feel confident at looking after freshwater fish first before I dive in to a marine system.

Ive seen so many people goto lfs buy a whole lotta stuff for a marine tank, then everything goes wrong and they end up selling the whole kit on our notice boards for half the cost.... I dont want to be one of those people.
