Pics Of My Two New Discus

I had 3 discus for a good while but sadly lost 2 about 6-7 months ago, the one remaining discus seemed fine on his own and was pals with one of my femal angels, even when there was other discus he swam with her everywhere.

I recently decided to go 'all discus' and sold my big angels and treated myself to two new discus to start off with.

Since my existing discus didnt seem to like the other discus I had (they were smaller and he just chased them constantly) I was a little worried so I looked for ones of a similar size and got them yesterday.

I was pleased to see he went straight over to the two new ones and is swimming about with them quite happily.

The two bigger ones are the new guys, the smaller one on the right is the one Ive had for about 10 month or maybe more.

He tries to chase them but they dont care and just go "beat it wee man" and he gives up. I want another 2 but Im waiting to get the exact ones I want, ill need to find out the name and search the web to get them maybe.

ive jus freed up my 55 gallon and im thinking discus would be a nice addition to my collection. not 100% sure yet tho.


found a site when you can get 10 juvies for £30 too which is kewl.

Those are awesome fish. I really love discus and every chance I get I go into a couple LFS near my house to look at their huge discus tanks. One of them is 900 gallons and has just so many colorful fish that stand out against the 'jungle like' plants.

Maybe someday.....!

oh wow. I've seen quality blue discus like that at there price....

$35 for a large blue or red
$55 for high high quality blue or red
$75 for fairly small super colorful high quality.
