Pics Of My Swordtails.

Hi

My plan is to rehome the 3 males and some of the fry so there is only females in my tank. Hopefully the numbers will then stay down.

I going to try and rehome the males each time they appear. I have to do something now as when the fry grow the tank will be too small to cope.

Have you or anyone have any other suggestions?

do you seperate the fry when born?
you could always leave them with the adults, as cruel as it seems its one way to keep there numbers down, you may get a few survive this way

I live in Notts.

I know it sounds extemily mean but from your pictures it does look like its getting out of control. So why not put afew swordtail fry in with outher fish and let nature take its corse. I am sorry if this offends anyone because I dont mean to. But i have read somewere before that people do it so their tank doesnt overflow with fry.

:good:

Thanks for your responses.

I do not seperate the fry from the other fish. and I have seen some of the other fish eat the fry, but the numbers are still high!

Any ideas??
