Thanks for sharing your great photos! :). Your right that Clown Loach will need rehoming as it will get too big for the tank and they are best in larger groups. And so will that Algae Eater as it will grow far too big for the tank. (I think?)

Won't be long till you are overstocked with Livebearers

I would go with your other half and get a much bigger tank :good:, cichlid is where it's at :p ;)

I kinda inherited the clown loach. He is still tiny, only about an inch and a half. The good thing is the back of the tank is mirrored so it gives the impression that there are more loaches in there, and it seems to keep him happy. I would like to find him a school in someone else's tank, as I dont want to send him to the LFS. And with any luck between the 4 adults and the soon to be adult fry, that should act as population control. I don't plan on saving anymore babies. The only babies that are alive are the ones I cause and raised in a 10 gallon tank. I do love my livebearers. We arent going to break down this tank, we will just have a 6th tank lol

+1 on this! Hate thinking my fish will go to a LFS, unless they are good! Would rather find a person who knows what they are doing to take care of the fish :).

I used to love them too, untill I couldn't keep them under control , gave all mine away and moved on to Cichlids (love them! wouldn't turn back).

 wish my misses would let me have six tanks! I have one 190L and another 20L shrimp tank (not running any more it's under the bed lol) and that's too many!!

P.S - How long have you had that Algae Eater? Has he / she grown much since having it?

I have had him for about a month. He is about 2 inches. When he gets bigger I will rehome him as I hear they get mean when they get bigger. I heard they will suck the slime coats and eyes right out of your fish!
