Hey guys, I think she is gunna pop soon but i just want your confirmation from these up to date pics.

She's definitely pregnant. I'd say a week or two. Mine is bigger than that and she has been pregnant forever it seems.

she has deffinatly got bigger since i got her and the other female is much slimmer so i guess she deffinatly is

Wellll at least i've got a lovely new massive tank to house any fry lol.

Hey if she does give birth can her fry be seperated straight away or should they stay with the mother at all?

Seperate them if you can,they don't need to be with momma fish at all,they'll be considered 'lunch'.

Looks pregnant, but not REALLY pregnant. I agree with Heather on a week or two before seeing fry. Here's a picture of my female guppy 2hrs before she had her fry(just to show you how large the belly can get):

looks like she's got a bit to go then.... Going to have to put the fry in my new tank....which isn't as yet cycled... will have to hope it's nearly there when she bursts... lol

My platies get so big when they are pregnant that it looks like they should be rolling through the water....not at all streamlined....

Then they drop and like straight away they are thin again!!

I have 3 pregnant females ATM.....AAAGGGHH.....add to that 30 bnose fry and I have a regular breeding tank
