It makes me feel like not ever adding anymore pics again :/

Very nice pictures Wolfie!

How big is that birchir? S/he looks massive! And those Loaches are lovely.

Please don't stop posting pictures, though. I love your pictures. I was going to reply here earlier, but then I got called away to do horsie stuff...so I forgot. Sorry. :(

no need to appologise Anna. ;) and thanks for the praise on my loaches.
the birchar is approx 7" from tip to tail, as is the bushfish.

Nice looking P.palmas there Wolfie :)

No one seems to like commening on any oddballs, but when you get a betta it's all "Oh wow! look at that <insert tailtype here! Look at the <insert colour here> colouration on it!"

WOW!!
amazing fish and tank.great pics of the fish

Great pics, Wolf!

Last pic, top row - is the loach in the left-hand corner a botia robusta?

Is your bushfish full grow 7 inches and what do you feed it? :dunno:

nope, I don't own a B.robusta  in this tank, of the botia species I have
kubotai, dario, almorhae, striata, helodes, hymenophysa and macracanthus.
I also have Schistura mahnerti and Nemacheilus masyae
which one were you looking at? I can't see a loach in the area you mentioned.

As for the bushfish I feed bloodworms, prawns(occasionally) and Hikari Tropical food sticks s/he seems to like flakes too and catfish pellets.
s/he should have another 1/2" to grow.

once again, lovely bichir wolf.

not sure on the bush fish though, i like the pattern of it's scales though with the outline.

WARNING- Loach overload

you seem to have quite a few outlet pipes and a power head, what filtration do you run?

No one seems to like commening on any oddballs, but when you get a betta it's all "Oh wow! look at that <insert tailtype here! Look at the <insert colour here> colouration on it!"
So so true, here's a tip though, show your oddball eating a betta!

I was referring to the pic of the loach with the vertical stripes.

I got lucky and found a single robusta that the store didn't know it had. I thought it was a tiger loach when I bought it.

I'll try to get a decent pic of him later. He could be the most difficult fish to photograph that I own. :sly:

Also, what the smallest fish you keep with your bushfish?

I'm about to move my tiger barbs to the same tank as my Leopard ctenopoma. The barbs are about an 1.5" and kinda fat. The bushfish is about 4.5".

The Hikari is great, I feed mine the carnivore pellets. The loaches also go crazy for them.
