Figured I would post some pictures of my first betta. The little guy seems to love the camera and will sit for long periods of time infront of his webcam.

He had a rip on his fin when I got him and was wondering if I should be worried.

That particular tear looks like he might have caught it on a decoration or something. Fin rot starts at the tip of the fin and works inward. Do you use aquarium salt in his tank? That might be beneficial to helping him heal quickly and to not letting the tear advance.

Yeah, I added some aquarium salt to his tank yesterday and he seemed to really enjoy it.
