just so you know.... you'll need about 1.5 pounds per gallon. mine is a 35 gal, and i used between 40 and 45 lbs. i do have a thick layer though

Are there any fish in the tank?
If there isn't what are you going to put inside?
It's a very nice tank The sand gives a really nice look!

There are a few fish in there right now... but not in that pic.

I currently have 1 Rosy barb, I zebra Danio, 5 platies and a snail and cory.

As bad as this may sound... but when some of these fish die (the barb is a year and a bit, and the danio is about as old, or older) i will be getting newer bigger fish. I want some angelfish and some blue rams. I will be getting some zebra loaches later next week.

I also have a 5 gal with a bunch of baby barbs and platties in it that will have to go in that tank. they are only 6 months old now, and still too small.

Have any suggestions??

Ummm...With the Rams, angels, barb and platies what about some tetras? Neon or mabye Cardinal, they will go very well with the rams...wait a second the angels...oh. Ok then, what about some larger tetras? Rams do very well with anytype of tetras and act even more happier and safe!
Well that's what I would do...sorry if it not what you want.

I was looking through my two fish books and thought the penguin tetras looked cool. Maybe I'll get 5 or 6 of something like that
