Hello everyone, i am selling at least 2 of my Rio 400s (but probably all 3) in the near future and am currently putting this post out here to see what sort of interest there is here(if any) in them (not quite ready to sell this very moment in time but will be in 1-2months time).
Equipment make-model-size: Juwel Rio 400
Age and condition: 5-4 years old (2-3 are for sale), v.good condition
Quantity for sale: 2-3
Reason for Sale: Downgrading tank sizes
Delivery or Collection: Collection
Sales price: £250's per complete tank set up.
Location: Wincanton, Somerset, England.
All 3 tanks come with original beach wood stands, original filtration, heating, original hoods + lighting + extra unused brand new lighting. There is slight (but unnotical) damage to some of the lids on the hoods, but otherwise the tanks are in all very good condition.
One condition: 2 of the tanks come with 1 plec each. The plecs;
One is a beautifully patterned fully grown (but not very large) light brown Sailfin Pleco (personality: shy & spends the bulk of its time hiding under the filter box, good around plants as long as adequate swimming space is given, good around other bottom dwelling fish like loaches & corys but does not tolerate other pleco's).
The other is a dark brown slim Common Pleco which is also fully grown (but also not particularly large), personality: Confident & friendly around people, a lot more active than the Sailfin and good around other bottom dwelling fish like loaches & corys. Does not tolerate other plecos of any decent size but has gotten along very well with a group of Clown Pleco's. Good around plants as long as adequate swimming space is given.
I really want to rehome these pleco's with their tanks to help ensure that they always have a good size home (too many Common & Sailfin plecos end up in tiny tanks
, & these are beautiful & intelligent fish).
