Picasso Trigger Just Died :(

I put in a second circulation pump (Koralia 3) in my tank yesterday and today I find my trigger dead. Looks like it was stuck between two rocks?? All my fish are very healthy and I just tested my water and everything is perfect. Was it from the new pump moving the sand around in his normal hiding spot and for him to get stuck in there?

when i found him it looked like he got stuck and tried to get out. (had a bunch of scars on his sides)

nope he was the boss of the tank...

Ouch, that's too bad. Seems like you've found the cause, but you'll probably never find the reason without a hidden camera. Maybe he was just chasing after something he saw in the rocks and got stuck, maybe he got spooked real quick, a whole ton of things could be at hand here. Just one of those freak accidents
