my tanks are "in the process" of becoming amazing, step by step. i have to wait for allowances every month because my parents' wont pay much. i have a ton of pics of my baby boys though. my favorites are in my signature and avatar. here's some more. sorry some of them are bad, i was just learning how to photograph fish.

personally, i like more natural tanks. with gravel or sand substrate. in the case of a betta, gravel. and i like live plants. and big leafy colorful ones.

if your a natural look person get like some cool gravel, maby something to look good with the color of betta you have. and then get some live plants that you think go with the colors.

shadow has black gravel with a few pieces here and there of a neon color gravel. pacific has the big shiney gems. i'm planning on a scheme for both of them. with shadow's, it's going ot be an underwater forest with old roman ruins in it (he loves his pillar) and pacific's is going to have a castle and a dragon in it - more of a fairytale theme. i figured the fairytale would go with pacific's color and i think shadow would murder me if i took out his favorite pillar, so i just went off on that idea.

Since it's been a while and the tank has been rearranged a bit, here are my photos.

Murdoch. Not exactly a "prized" betta in terms of show, but still a good boy. Sometimes muts are more fun than pedigrees ^^.

The tank. Anubias, java fern, moss ball, and floating water wisteria (experimenting to see if it will grow better this way). The white blobs are actually quartz statuettes in the shapes of a mayan-esque human head, a horse, and an elephant. I don't know what the brown rock is made of, but whatever it is, there hasn't been any trouble from it.

Hope this helped.
