Ive got some really beautifull fish in my tank and the blue moonglow bulb really shows them off but it makes it almost impossible to take any photos of them.

Looking in with the naked eye its clear and bright but when I try and take a photo with my digital camera its just always too blue, any suggestions without having to mess about changing the bulb?

it depends how good the camera is...

most mid range digitals have a white balance setting - play with that

On mine (Fuji S7000) I can actually manually set the white balance by taking a picture of something that should be white - and it trys to compensate.

Its a cannon A60 (or something :dunno: ....its over the other side of the room) but I'll see what I can do because Id love to post pictures of my fish on

Have you looked at the taking pictures guide in members aquariums?

Before I could take really good pics, but wasnt used to close ups, so I used their advice.
Beforehand I was getting shots that were rubbish, and the fish were blurry.

Now I get shots like this:

Think you'll agree its quite a nice shot :p

They are beautifull........if I had a normal light it would be fine, its just because it a blue moon glow that it just goes all white, Im going to look at fish thisafternoon so I'll maybe see if I can get a different kind of light, the blue light really does look great and shows the fish up beatifully so I want to keep a blue its just a shame I cant post pictures of them.
