Phoenix's New Home.

Well I finally got the chance to set back up my old 10gal tank for my betta boy Phoenix.
For those who don't know Phoenix, he's my only betta(now anyway) and he's a orange dalmatian VT from, yep you guessed it...walmart. I've had him for 4yrs so he's a little older then 4(since he wasn't very little when I got him) and he's still alive and kickin'

He's never been sick, and love to blow his mommy bubble nests
and and can't ever have any tank mates...as he will eat them(poor cherry barb/ghost shrimp...all 5 gone within one night, laying on the bottom of the tank with big chucks missing out of them ) The only thing that is 'wrong' per-say is the right side of his "beard" doesn't flare..and never has, ever since I've had him...so he always looks abit lopsided when he's trying to be all manly.

But anyway, enough rambling here he is:

that is my favourite colour. I have had a couple of that colour but couldnt keep them. I just love him to death....well done you for keeping him so long. Give him a blood worm from me

Never seen one that colour! he is lovely I love VTs, it is great when they do a full on flare and all that finnage really comes into its own!

Oh yes, Tibby his like the smexyist fish alive...except since one side of beard doesn't flare...he never looks manly, only cute lol

He is just amazing for his age and I love his colours. I had one almost identical a while ago called Strudel.....but he never had fins like Phoenix!!

Great looking tank too....I bet he loves it

Yea pretty much. I still remember the day I came in to the find the poor "friends" lying on the bottom of the tank. All 5 within one night, I might add.
He was so proud of himself too, ridding my room of the "evil monsters" I walked over to feed him, and of course saw the dead bodies...and being the good fish-mommy that I am, I started to scould Phoenix(since he can here me and all ) and what does he do? Swims over the top of them, flares, swims up to top looks at me..swims back down, flares some more...then repeat about 3 more time...ridiculus.
"Phoenix, my god what have you done?!?"
